About the event
In honor of January being Human Trafficking Awareness Month, together with MVA Troupe 3977 and the Arts Alliance, Project Red Light is hosting a Human Trafficking Survivor Support Drive - collecting household and personal hygiene supplies to donate to The Lifeboat Project, a non-profit based in Florida that provides safe, transitional housing and services to human trafficking survivors. For their survivor housing project, they are in need of basic hygiene and household items such as
- paper towels
- toilet paper
- laundry detergent
- dishes
- fabric softener
- pots and pans
- toiletries (shampoo, soap, conditioner, etc.).
Please consider making a donation of any of the above items (or similar) in support of this project. Donations can be dropped off on campus, or made online through an Amazon wish list ( amazon.com). Items purchased through the Amazon wish list will ship directly the school.
We will be collecting supplies from Jan 11 to Jan 19th 2024. Any and all donations would be very much appreciated, and will mean a lot to those we are helping. Thank you!!
